Comment is free
One of my correspondents has pointed out to me that there is no comments box on my previous post. Am mystified as to the reason for this, but if you do have anything you want to add please feel free to do so here.
Hope someone does otherwise I'm going to look a bit silly.

Well okay then. If that's how it is, I'll get the ball rolling myself.
Come on, I must have some friends somewhere.
Anybody? Hello?
What about that guy with the big cnose who sits in the same carriage as me every day? Or the guy with the increibly long legs who is the only person who always overtakes me on the way to the station? You out there?
Rish? Paddy?
Mum?
Will I do JD???? lol, stupid question, I will have to, I'm here now!!!
What a well written piece, I lived every moment of your journey with you, except might I say, the flexing and stretching... hahaha, there really wasn't room for that, you should be careful, you might take somebody's eye out!!
My daughter just LOVES London and the underground, but I say there's nothing more exhilarating than being a pedestrian in NYC!!! now that is a challenge.
Now I'm rambling, I have a tendancy to do that JD, you have to watch me..lol... but in this case, I'm just filling the space that Rish or Paddy or even Mum should be filling right? Shame on them!!!
Thanks Ali. Great to hear from you. Actually when I was in NYC last year I thought that being a pedestrian there was a picnic compared to London - seemed far less busy.
But then I wasn't actually trying to get anywhere, just ambling along being a tourist. I would imagine that if you are actually trying to move with any sense of purpose it can be every bit as frantic as London.
We were just disappointed that all the traffic lights seemed to have adopted the little green men rather than the "Walk" and "Don't Walk" that we seen in the movies.
Sorry JD - if you check out my contribution to my brother's blog, nottingham-forest.blogspot.com you will see that I have been very quiet over the last few days...
Can't say I blame you. I assume you watched the whole grisly spectacle in person. You have my sympathy.
I've had a zany few days here in the frozen north as they call it.
Where I live you'd be lucky to get a bus every hour, well half. I'll say it again: my heart was in my mouth; my cholesterol up-to-ninety.
Nice you make the effort on Tuesday.... Holby City?
Y;-) Paddy
I don't want to talk about it...
Paddy - actually on Tuesdays The Wife finishes work early, and I have a thing I do in London on alternate Tuesdays which finishes very late, so on the free ones I try to get home promptly.
Boring, I know, but you did ask. Holby City's not on on Tuesdays anymore. They've got a new brand extension/series called Holby Blue
Rish - I don't blame you. Still, I quite rated Curtis, so I'm surprised you want to get rid.
How's it goin'? Just checking up on you. Have a nice weekend.
Y:-) Paddy
